C. Export packing. Four bags of product shall be packed in a snug-fitting, fiberboard box constructed, closed, and reinforced in accordance with Style RSC, Grade V3c, V3s, or V4s of PPP-B-636. Each box packed with bags shall be provided with a full height, half-slotted partition, fabricated of weather-resistant fiberboard. The partition shall divide the box into four equal cells, each cell containing one bag. Alternatively, the contractor may have an integral, full-height partition that divides the interior of the box into two cells of equal volume, each cell containing two bags. Reinforcement shall be restricted to nonmetallic strapping or pressure-sensitive adhesive, filament-reinforced tape in accordance with the appendix of PPP-B-636.
D. Unit loads (commercial and export). Shipping containers shall be arranged in unit loads in accordance with MIL-L-35078. When unit loads are strapped, strapping shall be limited to nonmetallic strapping, except for Type II, Class F loads.
E. Labeling (commercial and export). Commercial labeling shall be acceptable. Preparation instructions shall be legibly printed on each package.
F. Marking (commercial and export). Marking of shipping containers and unit loads shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129. Recommended storage temperature shall be legibly printed on each shipping container. In addition, the following precautionary marking shall appear in letters not less than 1 inch high on top of each container:
